Optimized to provide a normal 50mm equivalent field of view, the silver 1 NIKKOR 18.5mm f/1.8 Lens from Nikon is designed to give the Nikon 1-series digital camera a natural perspective of the human eye. The ultra-fast maximum aperture of f/1.8 makes this lens a great choice for low-light photography, and when shot wide open, is capable of exceptionally shallow depth of field.
Also, it utilizes one aspherical element to control distortion and aberrations and has a rear focusing AF system. The lens will focus as close as 7.9″ and can use 40.5mm threaded filters. Additionally, it has a rounded 7-blade diaphragm for smooth other of focus elements.
