The versatile 28 to 140mm zoom range (equivalent 35mm format) makes it versatile enough to be used for educational, research, and workplace environments. It’s also dust-proof to IPX6 or JIS Class 6 standards, and can withstand cold temperatures down to -10°C. Additionally, it can handle up to 100kgf of pressure, ensuring that it stands up to the rigours of active and adventurous use.

Note that the webcam function does not include an audio feed; it is recommended to use the computer’s built-in microphone for audio during calls. Additionally, for enhanced usability, especially in static setups, the optional TE-2 Extension Adapter can be used to mount the WG-8 on a tripod.
