1. Pricing and Errors

  • Price Changes: All prices displayed on our website are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, fuel price increases, or unforeseen economic circumstances.

  • Errors and Omissions Excepted (E&OE): While we take immense care to ensure all prices and details on our website are accurate, inadvertent technical or human errors may occur.

  • Inadvertent Genuine Errors: In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), if a product is displayed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we are not bound to supply the product at that erroneous price. We will notify you immediately, cancel the order, and provide a full refund.

2. Stock Availability and Sourcing

  • Online Store & Warehousing: Please note that we operate as an online shop. We do not hold physical stock of all listed items at our main premises.

  • Supplier Sourcing: Certain items are held in external supplier warehouses and will be ordered upon confirmation of your payment. Stock availability is subject to supplier delivery timelines and manufacturing conditions.

3. Shipping and Delivery

We partner with The Courier Guy to fulfill all deliveries.

  • Delivery Charges: Courier delivery is free of charge on orders over R 1000-00.

  • Delivery Schedule: Deliveries are conducted from Monday to Friday during standard business office hours. No deliveries will be made on weekends or public holidays.

  • Dispatch Timeline: Once stock is received at our facility, we aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours.

Please Note: If a supplier is out of stock, we will request an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) from them and update you accordingly. Manufacturing timelines globally may still experience occasional logistical delays.

4. Pre-Orders & Payment

By placing an order for an item listed as "Available to Order" or "Pre-Order," you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Payment is processed immediately upon order confirmation
  • Your order is reserved and prioritised with our supplier on your behalf
  • Estimated dispatch timelines are provided in good faith but may be subject to supplier and manufacturing delays beyond our control
  • You may cancel your pre-order at any time before dispatch for a full refund
  • If stock becomes permanently unavailable, we will notify you within 24 hours and issue a full refund automatically

5. Pricing, Payments & VAT

All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Foto Discount World reserves the right to correct pricing errors before fulfilling an order. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout.

6. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Compliance

Foto Discount World operates in full compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008. Your statutory rights under the CPA are not affected by these Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these terms and the CPA, the CPA prevails.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including product images, descriptions, logos, and copy, is the property of Foto Discount World or its licensed suppliers. Unauthorised reproduction, scraping, or redistribution of any content is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Foto Discount World shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products purchased. Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
