The Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary is Sigma's first ultra-telephoto zoom lens designed exclusively for full-frame mirrorless cameras, available in Sony E-mount. Engineered within Sigma's Contemporary line for the ideal balance of optical performance and portability, it delivers edge-to-edge sharpness and high contrast across its entire focal range — making it an exceptional choice for wildlife, sports, aviation, and travel photography. The optical construction of 22 elements in 16 groups incorporates one FLD and four SLD glass elements to effectively suppress chromatic aberrations and colour fringing, ensuring outstanding clarity and colour accuracy at every focal length. A stepping motor AF system delivers fast, near-silent autofocus optimised for both phase-detection and contrast AF, with smooth performance for video and eye-tracking. Four-stop optical image stabilisation (OS) compensates for camera shake during handheld shooting, and works in conjunction with in-body stabilisation on compatible Sony bodies for even greater effectiveness.

Handling is refined and intuitive, with a dual-action zoom (ring and straight/hood zoom), AFL button, focus limiter switch, OS mode switch, and zoom lock switch all within easy reach.
