The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG II Art Lens for Sony E pairs a bright f/1.4 aperture with a versatile wide-angle perspective for portraits, events and documentary photography. Its full-frame optical design uses 15 elements in 12 groups, including two SLD and four aspherical elements, to deliver detailed images with controlled aberrations.
Dual HLA autofocus provides fast, accurate and quiet focusing for stills and video. An 11-blade rounded diaphragm produces smooth bokeh, while Advanced Amorphous Coating reduces ghosting and flare. The lens focuses as close as 28 cm and features an aperture ring with click and lock switches, two AFL buttons and reduced focus breathing.
The Sony E lens weighs 525 g without packaging and uses 67 mm filters. Its dust- and splash-resistant construction is not waterproof. A pouch, LH725-01 hood, LCF-67 IV front cap and LCR III rear cap are included.
