The Bower 72mm Tulip Lens Hood mounts to the front of any 72mm lens to block stray light from entering outside the image frame, reducing flare, ghosting, and contrast loss in bright or backlit shooting conditions. The tulip (petal) design is shaped for wide-angle and standard zoom lenses, with extended petals at the corners and shorter sides to maximise flare protection without causing vignetting. The result is noticeably improved contrast, more saturated colours, and sharper images straight from the camera. It also provides physical protection for the front lens element against knocks, rain, and dust. Compatible with all 72mm lenses from Fujifilm, Nikon, OM System, Sigma, Canon, and third-party manufacturers.
