The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Sony E is a wide-angle prime for Sony E-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras, with a 24mm full-frame-equivalent field of view. Its bright f/1.4 aperture suits low-light scenes, environmental portraits and creative background separation.
A 16-element, 13-group optical construction delivers detailed rendering, while the nine-blade rounded diaphragm produces smooth background blur. Stepping-motor autofocus supports smooth video focusing and compatible Sony Fast Hybrid AF systems. The lens focuses as close as 25 cm and accepts 67 mm filters.
The Sony E lens weighs 405 g without packaging and measures 72.2 mm in diameter by 92.3 mm in length. The LH716-01 hood, LCF-67mm III front cap and LCR II rear cap are included. Designed for APS-C coverage, it does not provide full-frame sensor coverage.
