Key Features
- Clear optical glass — Provides a removable front-element barrier without intended colour or exposure changes.
- Water- and oil-repellent coating — Helps droplets bead and fingerprints wipe away more easily.
- Antistatic coating — Helps reduce dust adhesion.
- Multicoated surface — Helps minimise reflections and ghosting.
- Slim aluminium-alloy ring — Textured edges aid fitting and removal.
- 62mm threads — Rear lens thread and front accessory thread are both 62mm.
The Sigma 62mm WR Water-Repellent Protector Filter combines clear optical glass with water- and oil-repellent, antistatic and reflection-reducing coatings. Its slim aluminium-alloy ring has 62mm rear and front threads for compatible lenses and accessories.
This is the clear WR Protector rather than the WR UV or WR Ceramic Protector. A storage case is included. The 62mm thread size is not an overall dimension; net weight and overall size remain unverified. A protective filter does not guarantee impact or waterproof protection.
The filter is available at Foto Discount World in Pretoria. Delivered nationwide in South Africa within 2–4 business days. Contact us to confirm applicable warranty and authorised-dealer coverage. Explore the Sigma collection and camera and lens accessories. Lens and camera are not included.
